Our Return Promise

We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of delivery for most items, provided they are:

  • In original condition (unworn, unwashed, with tags attached)
  • In original packaging
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, the following sailing essentials cannot be returned:

  • Dinghy Buoyancy Aids (including Kids Buoyancy Aids)
  • Dinghy Gloves (worn for grip and protection)
  • Dinghy Harnesses (safety equipment)

These items are only eligible for exchange if defective upon arrival.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Step 1: Submit Your Request

Email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use the following template to ensure we process your request efficiently:

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

Within 24-48 hours (excluding weekends), our team will email you:

  • A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
  • Detailed return instructions
  • A prepaid return label (for US customers)

Step 3: Ship Your Return

Pack the item(s) securely in the original packaging, include your order confirmation, and attach the RMA number clearly on the package. For international returns, you may need to cover return shipping costs.

Step 4: Processing Your Return

Once received at our Austin facility, we’ll inspect the items within 3-5 business days. You’ll receive email confirmation when your return is processed.

Refund Information

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days after processing
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days after processing

Note that original shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases of our error.

Exchange Process

For exchanges:

  1. Follow the standard return process above
  2. Specify your desired replacement item in your request
  3. We’ll ship your new item once the return is received
  4. You’ll only be charged if the new item costs more (we’ll refund any difference if it costs less)

Expedited Exchanges

Competitors preparing for regattas can request our Priority Exchange Service – we’ll ship your replacement immediately with a shipping hold placed on your original order. Contact us at [email protected] for this option.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive damaged or defective sailing gear (which we strive to prevent with our rigorous quality checks):

  1. Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Include photos of the damage/defect
  3. We’ll arrange a free return and expedited replacement
